Here is a small selection of the projects we have worked on to date, promoting a variety of different products and services for  B2B and B2C audiences. Have a browse and get in touch with us to learn how we can deliver that something extra you have been searching for.

RCI – Endless Vacation Magazine

Client: RCI is a global timeshare exchange provider, with more than 4,000 resorts in over 100 countries worldwide. A former employer of Lorraine Karabin, Director of Words from a Feather,  RCI’s European headquarters are based in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Their consumer holiday magazine, Endless Vacation, is mailed bi-annually to a closed user group of approximately 200,000 timeshare exchange owners.

Projects:

Colours of the Exotic was commissioned to feature the variety of things to see and do in the Dominican Republic and Mexico for the Spring/Summer 2016 edition of Endless Vacation.  The editorial features some of the less documented attractions in Mexico and the Dominican Republic, to inspire readers to holiday somewhere different.

More recently, the magazine editor commissioned us to produce Reminders of a Memorable Adventure for the Spring/Summer 2017 edition. A light-hearted lifestyle editorial, the article features the range of souvenirs available in Spain, Portugal, Las Vegas and Mexico. We thoroughly enjoyed researching everything from the quirky to the fabulous available to purchase on holiday – but we drew a line at sombreros – they take up far too much luggage space!

For the same issue, we were delighted to have the opportunity to work on Caribbean Cocktail, covering the fabulous attractions in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. After carrying out some editorial research, the words just flew together for this one and it certainly left us with a thirst for more!

RCI is a global timeshare exchange provider, with more than 4,000 resorts in over 100 countries worldwide. A former employer of Lorraine Karabin, Director of Words from a Feather,  RCI’s European headquarters are based in Kettering, Northamptonshire. RCI Ventures magazine is mailed to holiday resort developers, hoteliers, tourism bodies, financiers and marketing and sales teams. It is designed to keep its readership up-to-date with the latest news, views and developments in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Projects:

Over the last two years, Words from a Feather has been commissioned to write a number of business articles owing to our knowledge and first-hand experience of the shared vacation ownership industry. A Loyal Connection addresses the latest in product innovation in the form of loyalty and reward programmes. This feature topic was our idea which was successfully pitched to the editor. New Ways to Stay looks at the latest hospitality trends in relation to serviced apartments, while upcoming feature East Emerging, shines the spotlight on efforts being made to bring more structure to the shared ownership industry in Russia and Turkey.

We always love getting stuck into producing content for RCI Ventures. It’s inspiring, allowing us to interview some of the key industry leaders who are paving the way forward for timeshare. And of course, it’s a fantastic opportunity to discover the very latest trends as part of our research.

Press Trip to Mauritius

Press Trip MauritiusClient: Commissioned by LiveShareTravel and iAmbassador. LiveShareTravel (detailed above). iAmbassador manages a team of online travel influencers to design and execute a range of campaigns, promoting travel destinations through blog posts, social media and video.

Project: On behalf of LiveShareTravel, we carried out live social media activity on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for the #MyMauritius campaign. Spending a week on the island we used that time to experience the alternative side to Mauritius, gaining research material for blog posts and capturing persuasive imagery to inspire the LiveShareTravel audience via social media and the blog. In addition, we shot some video footage to be used in post-campaign promotional videos – these are featured on the Live Share Travel website and on their YouTube profile. The project also includes ongoing marketing and promotion on social media to continue to increase the number of impressions for the campaign.
